Nicolau de Almeida’s Vintage Port
The figure on the labels was taken from a painting by Fernando Nicolau de Almeida, João’s father, entitled “O Provador” (The Wine Taster), where he combined his fascination with the Middle Ages and his endless humor applied to the strained moment of the wine tasting.
